Make Your Own CD-Cover

With optical medias gaining market and being the most popular and efficient way to carry data around, taking care, maintaining of lots of CDs, DVDs can be difficult. So here is a DIY to show you to create your own CD cover for almost free.

What you need:
  1. Paper Cutter/ Box Cutter
  2. Glue
  3. A4 Size Paper
  4. Scale/Ruler

    Steps:
    1. Take an A4 size paper and trim it: width: 6'', height: 11''

    2. Then fold five inches from any side. You are dividing the paper in 6'' and 5'' in height. You will get a side shorter than other.

    3. Take half inches from both sides along the height.

    4. Cut the half inches that you just made from both the sides from 5'' region.

    5. Fold the other half inches of the 6'' region.

    6. Fold the whole 5'' region towards 6'' region and trim the extra half inches from the both sides. Remember: do not cut the whole leftover region, only the half inches from both sides of the leftover region.

    7. Put glue on the half inches of 6'' region and again refold the 5'' region
over 6'' region. And make sure that the glue is well spread over the 5'' region.

    8. Trim the leftover region on 6'' region and that should work as cover for the CDs.

    9. Remember, modification can be done as you see fit.

There are various other ways to make cd-cover, among them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWAKd210-Sg is a better way.
